Good News: 7 New Medical Colleges will Start Soon in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister will Inaugurate on October 25

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 7 new medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh on October 25, 2021.  According to the recent announcement of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this inauguration will be done from Siddharthnagar district of UP.  The medical college in Siddharthnagar will be named after Madhav Prasad Tripathi, the first state president of the BJP.  PM Modi's visit to Siddharthnagar is a big step towards the development of medical infrastructure in the country.  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also recently visited the district to take stock of the preparations for the arrival of the Prime Minister.

 New medical colleges will open in these 7 districts

 Uttar Pradesh will have 7 new medical colleges in the following districts - Siddharthnagar, Deoria, Etah, Mirzapur, Ghazipur, Hardoi and Bahraich.  These colleges will add to the pool of medical resources of the country and can work to increase the capacity of medical seats in the country.  Reports also suggest that admission to these medical colleges will also be done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET exam.

Admission can be done from this year

 After assessing the preparations for the arrival of PM Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath even said that admissions can open in these colleges from this academic year.  CM further visited all the premises and inspected the buildings.  He also held a meeting with public representatives and officials to ensure that all preparations are in place for PM Modi's arrival and a successful inauguration event.  With these 7 new medical colleges, the Uttar Pradesh government also aims to help the people of the surrounding districts.  Medical services will now be easily available for these districts and people will not have to travel to far-flung areas in search of help.
